Overview
While working at Alight (Aon), I supported marketing efforts tied to Workday Rising, a popular HR industry conference event, where Alight maintained a large conference presence. My work focused on building email communications and landing pages used for event promotion and related marketing initiatives.
The campaign required coordination across marketing, strategy, and print teams to ensure digital materials aligned with physical booth assets and broader company branding standards.
My Role
I developed responsive HTML email templates, Outlook-compatible invitations, and event-specific landing pages integrated with the Marketo platform.
Given the fact that email clients impose strict rendering limitations, particularly in Outlook, I adapted existing design system components to function reliably across clients including Outlook, Gmail, and mobile email alternatives.
I supported Marketo integration and campaign configuration, including form setup and custom event tracking. I also contributed to A/B testing variations where needed.
In addition, I created lightweight animated elements for email campaigns using After Effects, balancing motion with performance as needed.



Approach
The campaign operated on a fixed conference timeline, requiring structured production and careful QA. Email templates were tested across major clients to ensure layout stability and rendering consistency.
Landing pages were implemented within Marketo workflows, ensuring that form submissions and tracking data flowed correctly into marketing systems. Where necessary, JavaScript was used to support interaction and tracking behavior.
Coordination with print and design teams ensured that messaging and visual elements remained consistent across digital campaigns and physical event materials.



Outcome
All campaign assets were delivered in time for the Workday Rising event. Email communications, landing pages, and supporting materials were deployed as planned and used to support Alight’s conference presence.
The coordination between digital, automation, and print teams ensured messaging and branding remained consistent across channels, allowing marketing teams to manage outreach through Marketo without additional rework.
